Former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik stood with Donald Trump’s close adviser and disgraced and soon-to be-more disgraced former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani at a press conference in Philadelphia a week after the 2020 President Election to allege voter fraud in the election.
Giuliani uttered a lot of utter nonsense but no evidence.
Here’s how the New York Daily News described the Giuliani press conference:
“Rudy Giuliani wasn’t the only shifty New Yorker taking part in last weekend’s widely-mocked press conference at a dodgy Philadelphia strip mall.
“Disgraced ex-NYPD commissioner Bernie Kerik was among the Donald Trump loyalists who confounded the world by standing in front of a Pennsylvania landscaping business — flanked by a sex toy shop and a crematorium — to denounce the U.S. elections as a sham full of illegal votes.
“Sporting a jaunty yellow tie and no COVID mask, Kerik stood just behind the left shoulder of his former boss Giuliani at the now-ridiculed presser.
“The ex-NYPD top cop and Giuliani were once bosom buddies, but as Kerik detailed in his 2015 book, the ex-mayor of New York City dropped him after he got mired in tax trouble.
“But all rifts appeared to be mended as Kerik, who was granted clemency by President Trump earlier this year in his tax fraud case, stood staunchly behind Giuliani during the bizarre event in Philadelphia.
“When asked for comment about the event and the venue, Kerik said, ‘I have nothing to say.’ ”
Who better to give Giuliani’s bogus charges credibility than someone like Kerik, who had been gone to federal prison for committing fraud?
Kerik served three years in prison for fraud and other charges.
Trump pardoned him in February 2020.

Kerik then joined the president’s campaign to discredit the election after the presidential election.
This, in turn, resulted in Kerik being questioned by prosecutors investigating crimes that Trump and his associates were alleged to have committed in trying to remain in power.
Kerik has cooperated with federal prosecutors in their investigation into Trump’s role to overturn the 2020 election.
Independent counsel Jack Smith charged Trump with conspiracy to defraud the United States; conspiracy to obstruct an official proceeding; obstruction of and attempt to obstruct an official proceeding; and conspiracy against rights.
Kerik is an unindicted conspirator in the investigation by Fulton County (GA) district attorney Fani Willis that Trump and 18 others conspired to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.
CNN reported that Kerik attended meetings at the White House with Trump to challenge election results in Pennsylvania. The meetings involved Pennsylvania legislators, then-White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, and Trump attorney Jenna Ellis, the network said.

Kerik reportedly has turned over documents that reference the Trump effort to overturn the election that include a Giuliani-proposed strategy to convince Republican congressional members to vote against certifying the 2020 election by repeating such unsubstantiated claims such as “Dead people voted,” “Underage people voted” and “Fraudulent Ballots.”
The Washington Post reported that Kerik and Giuliani charged the Trump campaigns tens of thousands of dollars to find evidence of voting fraud and were not reimbursed until Fox News personality Jeanine Pirro pressured Trump into paying Kerik and Giuliani.
Kerik has not been charged in any of the investigations involving Trump’s efforts to overturn the election.
