There are people in politics who are full of shit.
And there are organizations in politics who are full of shits.
And then there’s a former Utah congressman who’s full of Chaffetz.
Jason Chaffetz disregarded his responsibility to his voters to serve out his term by quitting six months into the Donald Trump presidency and going to work as a contributor to Fox News.

He told Fox News he wanted to get “off the crazy train.”
As a result, one “crazy train” got a little lighter and another picked up some additional weight.
A year after leaving office, Chaffetz wrote The Deep State: How An Army of Bureaucrats Protected Barack Obama and Is Working to Destroy Donald Trump, which became the book of the month on the “crazy train.”
“The Deep State is real,” Chaffetz wrote. “They don’t like exposure, accountability or responsibility. They fight back, outlast and work the system for their advantage. And they certainly don’t like disruptive forces such as Donald Trump.”
The book was short on specifics but long on paranoia and fantasy.
The “deep state,” USA Today said, “is a conspiracy theory promoted by Trump and some congressional conservatives that alleges that employees of federal agencies and the military are secretly conspiring to control or manipulate government policy.
“Democrats and more mainstream Republicans have largely dismissed the conspiracy theory as nonsense,” the newspaper said.
There might not be a Deep State.
But Chaffetz is a member in good standing of the Creep State.
Chaffetz, while in Congress, chaired the powerful House Oversight and Government Reform Committee from 2015 to 2017, where he relentlessly investigated the Obama Administration and, in particular, Hillary Clinton, the administration’s secretary of state.
He, however, refused to hold the Trump Administration accountable or responsible as the former real-estate billionaire worked the system to his advantage.
How could anyone be so full of Chaffetz?
Chaffetz’s refused to investigate Trump for, among other things, possible conflict-of-interest between his administration and his private companies, the president’s financial relationship with Russia, and the president’s refusal to release his tax returns.
Chaffetz also refused to investigate Trump’s National Security Adviser Michael Flynn for his ties to Russian officials.
Chaffetz tried to destroy Obama and protect Trump.
Chaffetz’s actions were so transparent that hundreds of his constituents attended a town hall in the congressman’s home district and demanded that he investigate Trump.
“Do your job!” the crowd screamed.
They also demanded to know why he had introduced legislation to sell public lands and why he wanted to abolish the U.S. Department of Education.
Chaffetz, rather than addressing his constituents, abandoned them.

Upon leaving Congress, he went to work for Fox News, an army of propagandists who fought to destroy Barack Obama and protest Donald Trump.
He also joined something called the Government Accountability Institute, a think tank run by Trump chief strategist Steve Bannon, who Trump pardoned after Bannon was charged with “defrauding donors of more than a million dollars as part of a fundraising campaign purportedly aimed at supporting Trump’s border wall,” CNN reported

The group claims to expose corruption, misuse of taxpayer funds, and crony capitalism within the Democratic Party.
Will the ironies never end?
