ONLY THE BEST PEOPLE: RICK WILES

Rick Wiles is the pastor of the non-denominational Flowing Springs Church and founder of the TruNews organization, a website that promotes conspiracy theories that target, among other groups, gays, Muslim, and Jews.

Wiles, in an online video, accused Jews, in particular, of manufacturing Donald Trump’s impeachment.

“That’s the way Jews work,” Mr. Wiles said. “They are deceivers. They plot, they lie, they do whatever they have to do to accomplish their political agenda. This ‘Impeach Trump’ movement is a Jew coup, and the American people better wake up to it really fast.”

In addition, Wiles warned his listeners that “when Jews take over a country, they will kill millions of Christians.”

In response to Wiles’s support, the Trump White House provided press credentials to Tru News to report on, among other things, the president’s trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Jonathan Karl of ABC News, president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, asked Trump administration why credentials were provided to TruNews.

“It’s puzzling that a known hate group would get press credentials from the same White House that revoked the credentials of a correspondent for a major television network,” Mr. Karl.

Karl’s was referring to Jim Acosta of CNN, whose credentials were revoked in 2008. They were restored after a lawsuit.

“We have asked why this happened and if the White House intends to issue credentials to this group in the future,” Mr. Karl said. “We have not received an on-the-record response.”

Why would it be puzzling that the Trump White House would give press credentials to a known hate group?

It would have been puzzling if it did not.

Wiles declared the COVID-19 vaccine a “global genocide.”

“I am not going to be vaccinated,” he said. “I’m going to be one of the survivors. I’m going to survive the genocide.”

Shortly therefore, Wiles was hospitalized after contracting the virus.

After Joe Biden defeated Trump in the 2020 presidential election, Wiles said the Trump Administration had plans to execute Democrats, liberals, and anyone else who participated in rigging the election.

“They’re going to have a bunch of traitors, they’re going to line them up against the wall, and start shooting them, because that’s what they deserve,” he declared. “The Democrats, the news media… If the leftists, if the scientists, professors have been working secretly with the Chinese Communist Party, then line them up against a wall and shoot them.”

This seemed an odd thing for a pastor to say, considering there was no proof that Democrats or anyone tried to rig the election — with the possible exception of some Trump supporters — and that shooting people would appear to conflict with the teachings of the Bible.

In fact, there are a hundred verses in the Bible that condemn murder, including:

“Thou Shalt Not Kill” — Exodus 20:13.

The Bible, as far as I could find, does not provide exceptions for people who vote.
