A federal judge ordered Rudy Giuliani in late December 2023 to pay the damages he owes “to two former Georgia election workers for falsely accusing them of manipulating ballots after the 2020 election,” The New York Times reported.
Judge Beryl Howell ordered Giuliani to pay $148 million in damages for defamation, civil conspiracy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress for repeatedly accusing Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss of manipulating ballots on the night of the 2020 Presidential Election, The Times reported.
Judge Howell waived what the newspaper called “the standard 30-day waiting period” and said the former New York City mayor and presidential candidate had to “immediately pay” the damages, citing concerns that the former New York City major and presidential candidate might “conceal his assets” if given the time to do so.
The Times added that “there is no indication that Mr. Giuliani, whose long-running financial problems have only been intensifying, has anywhere near the amount he owes.”
Giuliani admitted to Judge Howell that he had lied in his statements about Freedom and Moss.
During the trial Freeman and Moss, an African-American mother and daughter, described how they were subjected to death threats and racist abuse after Giuliani accused them of manipulating the election results to benefit Joe Biden, the Democratic presidential candidate, over the re-election of President Donald Trump.
“Giuliani just messed me up, you know,” Ms. Freeman told the jury.
Giuliani declared financial bankruptcy the next day.
Giuliani previously had declared moral and ethical bankruptcy.
But unlike the action involving his defamation of Freeman and Moss, Giuliani did not have to have to pay damages in his moral and ethical bankruptcy after declaring that neither his morals nor his ethics had any currency or value.
No judge or court in the world could argue otherwise.
Giuliani, who faces disbarment and criminal charges for, among other things, conspiring to overturn the election results in Georgia, was once “feted, knighted and named Time magazine’s person of the year for his leadership as New York City mayor after the 2001 terrorist attack, The Associated Press reported, but “has seen his reputation eviscerated and . . . his liberty imperiled for his steadfast defense of former President Donald Trump’s false claims about the 2020 election.”
What happened to Giuliani?
Donald Trump is what happened to Giuliani.
In the Christmas classic, It’s A Wonderful Life, the protagonist George Bailey learns that his life has so much meaning because it left a positive impact on so many people.
Donald Trump, by contrast, has failed to acknowledge the opposite – that most people would have been better off if he had never been born.
Trump has caused tremendous suffering to those who came to know him and follow him into Trump World, or hell as it is better known, where a sign hangs loosely on a nail that says, “Abandon hope, all ye who enter here!”
Giuliani went from “America’s mayor” to America’s farting, rabid dog.
More on Giuliani’s farting further down in the post.
He has been exposed as a lying, racist, farting, disintegrating, seditious, rabid, conspiracy mongrel who hangs outside Philadelphia sex shops begging for scraps.
Giuliani pleaded not guilty in a courtroom in Atlanta, Georgia, for conspiracy with others to overturn the results of the 2020 Presidential Election inn Georgia.
Giuliani was among 19 defendants, including former President Donald Trump, in the indictment.
A story on the PBS website includes a photo of a disconsolate Giuliani.
It captures him in a moment of despair.
But no photo captures the sheer consequences of what happened to Giuliani as a result of his fealty to Donald Trump than the one taken of him as he raged during a press conference about election fraud in the presidential election in mid-November 2020.

He appeared to be melting – like the wicked witch in the movie, Wizard of Oz.
Unfortunately, no one threw a bucket of water on Giuliani, thus sparring him from the public humiliation that will follow him to his grave and beyond.
This is how a New York Times reporter described Giuliani during the press conference.
“By the time Mr. Giuliani began to take questions from reporters, the dark rivulets of liquid streaking down his face had become impossible to ignore, even as he pleaded with those present not to make light of his claims, for which he has yet to present evidence,” The Times reported.
“Many online commenters assumed that Mr. Giuliani was the victim of a bad dye job that was now seeping out under the bright lights of television. But several Manhattan hairdressers said that what was dripping down the face of the president’s lawyer was likely not hair dye.”
What could have caused Giuliani to melt under the hot lights of public scrutiny?
Another conspiracy?
Could the cheap hair dye – or whatever it was — have penetrated his skull and affected his brain function?
Only Giuliani’s hairdresser knows for sure.
Where were the far-right conspirators to explain what it was that dripped down Giuliani’s cheeks?
To Alex Jones and Marjory Taylor Greene, Giuliani was not the former mayor and election conspiracy junkie but a crisis actor who tried to delegitimize the Trump campaign’s delegitimate claims of a conspiracy.
QAnon argued that whoever did this to Giuliani must have been part of a cabal of Satan-worshiping elites who run a child sex ring.”
Not really – or at least not that I know of.
Others had questions about Giuliani and the cabal of bigots, swindlers, liars, criminals, demagogues, traitors, imbeciles, lunatics, con artists, seditionists, bullies, and conspiracy junkies, who were trying to overturn the results of the presidential election.
Stephen Colbert, host of Late Night with Stephen Colbert, according to one observer, “wondered aloud if it was good sign for Trump if “your lawyer starts to melt.”
Colbert suggested that it wasn’t “hair dye” but the Trump attorney’s “hair died” and that perhaps he had had his “hair styled at Jiffy Lube.”

Jimmy Kimmel said that Giuliani was “literally dying” during his press conference.
“Isn’t it funny how the ones who shout fake news the loudest all have fake heads,” Kimmel said during his monologue on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Seth Meyers, host of Late Night with Seth Meyers, looked at the sweating Giuliani and observed,
“It’s not great when the lawyer looks like he’s about to admit to the crime.”

Giuliani was no-Rudy-come-lately to the four-year horror show known as the Trump presidency.
Giuliani had long been the president’s horse shit whisperer.
Giuliani engaged the services of Russian-born businessmen Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, or “Lev” and “Igor,” as they became affectionately known, who helped “Giuliani carry out a shadow diplomacy campaign, sweeping them into a chain of events” that led to Trump’s impeachment for pressuring the Ukrainian president to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son Hunter for illegal business activity.
In addition, Parnas and Fruman, using their connections in Russia and Ukraine, spread disinformation that it was Ukraine – and not Russia – that meddled in the 2016 Presidential Election.

Giuliani jumped aboard the Trump fraud train long before it left the station, repeating the president’s bogus claims of election fraud in the days and weeks after the 2020 Presidential Election on November 3 – as election recount after recount revealed that the only thing fraudulent about the election was the claims that there was election fraud.
U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr told the Associated Press that he had “not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election.”
Giuliani kept digging and digging and digging to find someone – anyone? anyone? anyone? — who could corroborate the Trump World’s accusation that there was widespread election fraud.
Giuliani found Melissa Carone, who worked in Detroit, Michigan, as an IT contractor with Dominion Voting Services, which produces and sells the voting machines used in the election.
Carone alleged in an affidavit that was filed in a Wayne County in Detroit that, according to Politico, “ballots were counted 4 or 5 times; that more than 100,000 ballots were then ‘found’ after vans dropped off food for the poll workers; that poll workers were filling out ballots on behalf of voters; and that her managers, who were responsible for overseeing the voting site where she was present
The Wayne County judge dismissed Carone’s allegations as “simply not credible.”

But Giuliani soldiered on – perhaps thinking that having a witness who was “not credible” was better than not having any witnesses.
Giuliani brought Carone to a hearing at the state Legislature when Matt Hall, the chair of the Michigan House Oversight committee, said he asked that Carone speak to the committee in the hope of “clarity and transparency.”
But neither clarity nor transparency was any match for Carone— or Giuliani’s flatulence.
On any other day the fact that Rudy Giuliani farted loudly – and then farted loudly a second time — would have been cause for attention.
But on this day, the farts provided the only appropriate soundtrack for Carone’s mindless testimony.

Giuliani also took his act to Philadelphia, where he stood with former New York City Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik at a press conference in Philadelphia a week after the 2020 President Election to allege voter fraud in the election.
The event was at the Four Season – not the luxurious hotel but a small company called Four Seasons Total Landscaping.
Here’s how the New York Daily News described the Giuliani press conference:
“Rudy Giuliani wasn’t the only shifty New Yorker taking part in last weekend’s widely mocked press conference at a dodgy Philadelphia strip mall.
“Disgraced ex-NYPD commissioner Bernie Kerik was among the Donald Trump loyalists who confounded the world by standing in front of a Pennsylvania landscaping business . . . — flanked by a sex toy shop and a crematorium — to denounce the U.S. elections as a sham full of illegal votes.”
Who better to give Giuliani’s bogus charges credibility than Kerik, who had gone to federal prison for committing fraud?

Giuliani’s appearance outside the sex shop confirmed what we already knew – his greatest contribution to American society was his contribution to comedians on American television.
Kate McKinnon portrayed Giuliani on Saturday Night Live.
