ONLY THE BEST PEOPLE: NICK FUENTES

Ye, the artist formally known as Kanye West, arrived for dinner with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago with Nick Fuentes, a white nationalist, antiSemite, Putin-loving, Hitler loving, pro-Russian, Holocaust denier who has called for the genocide of Jews.

Trump did not appear to object to eating with a virulent Hitler-loving white supremacist – and apparently neither did Fuentes.

Ye posted a video to his 32 million Twitter followers that said, “Trump is really impressed with Nick Fuentes.”

Why wouldn’t Trump be impressed with Fuentes?

A witness to the dinner conversation told Axios that Trump “seemed very taken” with Fuentes, a 24-year-old college dropout who recommended to Trump that the former president was more “authentic” when he veered off script.

“You like it better when I just speak off the cuff,” Trump told Fuentae, according to the source.

Fuentes then agreed and called the president “amazing.”

“There was a lot of fawning back and forth,” the source told Axios.

The article added that Trump turned to Ye at one point and said of Fuentes, “I really like this guy. He gets me.”

The source of the conversation then said, “To be honest, I don’t believe the president knew who the hell (Fuentes) was.”

But, at the end of the evening, Fuentes, Ye, and Trump gave each other Nazi salutes and goosestepped their way out the exit to the strains of Springtime for Hitler and Germany.

The National Review, the voice of traditional political conservatism, said that Trump having dinner with a “white supremacist” a week after he declared he would be a presidential candidate in 2024, “is likely to draw renewed outrage over the former president’s embrace of extremists.”

Fuentes was removed from the annual Conservative Political Action conference a year later because “his hateful racist rhetoric and actions are not consistent with the mission of CPAC,” Matt Schlapp, the group’s chair, said.

(Laughing is encouraged here).

Fuentes responded to the statement by making a reference to Schlapp who was being sued by another man for sexual battery.

“Ah yes we all know CPAC is reserved for sexual gropers,” Fuentes said.

(Laughter is encouraged here too).

Politico reported that a staffer for Herschel Walker, a former football player who was running for U.S. Senate in Georgia, was driving Schlapp back to a hotel after a Walker campaign event when, according to the man, Schlapp put his hand on his leg and “began aggressively fondling” his “genital area in a sustained fashion.”

The alleged victim of the sexual assault said he was “frozen with fear and panic.” Schlapp, the man said, reportedly invited him to his hotel room. The man declined.

In January 2023, the man filed a $9.4 lawsuit against Schlapp for sexual battery. The suit also included Schlapp’s wife Mercedes, who, according to the lawsuit, joined with her husband in defaming him on social media after the charges were made.
