There is little evidence in Donald Trump’s pre-political life that he ever thought about — much less practiced — Christianity or any religion. The only time he found himself in a church was when he was chasing a prostitute and she ducked into a church to lose him but to no avail; he went inside after her. (This probably never happened . . . as far as I know).
Trump accepted the invitation of Jerry Falwell Jr., who was then president of Liberty University, in hopes of winning the support of evangelical voters. In a speech at Liberty University, Trump cursed twice and referred to Second Corinthians as Two Corinthians.
Rookie mistake.
The Bible warns us against false apostles. First Corinthians 7:5 says: “Do not deprive each other except perhaps by mutual consent and for a time, so that you may devote yourselves to prayer. Then come together again so that Satan will not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”
Millions of tempted evangelicals threw their lot with Trump and some — like Falwell Jr. — lost their self-control. Did I say that Trump fixer Michael Cohen blackmailed Falwell into endorsing Trump after revealing compromising sexual photos of Falwell. “I actually have one of the photos,” Cohen said, “It’s terrible.”
Cohen may be a convicted perjurer.
But no one could possibly question the veracity of his statement about the compromising sexual photos of Jerry Falwell Jr.
Here is a partial list of charlatans, hypocrites, false apostles, and other children of a dysfunctional god.

Paula White, Trump’s spiritual adviser – what could one narcissistic, megalomaniacal, adulterous, thrice-married, often bankrupt (financially and morally) huckster have in common with another narcissistic, megalomaniacal, adulterous, thrice-married, often bankrupt (financially and morally) huckster?
