ONLY THE BEST PEOPLE: STACEY DASH

Actress Stacey Dash appeared in the 1995 film Clueless and then in the television program Clueless.

She was then — and continues to be — clueless.

Fortunately, there is still a place in America for a clueless, conservative, attractive woman on television.

Fox News hired her to do commentary.

Dash said, among other things, that transgender people should “go in the bushes.” After television actor Jesse Williams spoke up about racial injustice, Dash called him “a plantation slave.”

She was then suspended after saying on the air that President Obama “didn’t give a shit” about terrorism.

She also said Black Entertainment Network should be removed from television and called for the end of Black History Month because it perpetuated segregation.

Fox News clearly specifies that such statements can only be made by white men.

Dash predictably became an enthusiastic Donald Trump supporter and married Jeffrey Marty, her fourth husband, an enthusiastic Trump supporter and conspiracy theorist who created a website for a congressman who was identified as being the first member of Congress to support Trump.

Marty later said that the website for a congressman who was an enthusiastic supporter of Trump was a joke.

Now that’s funny.

Sadly, the Dash-Marty marriage did not last. Not even a mutual love for Donald Trump could keep these love birds together. The two divorced after Dash was arrested for physically assaulted Marty.

Dash announced in 2018 that she was running for Congress in a liberal district in California as a conservative Republican. She dropped out of the race a month later.

Dash, however, dropped her support for Trump after watching the riots at the U.S. Capitol when violent Trump supporters tried to overturn the election results.

‘When that happened I was like ‘OK, I’m done. I’m truly done,’ ” she said. “Because senseless violence of any kind I denounce. What happened on Jan. 6 was just appalling and stupid.”
